Client & Location Information: Community Pharmacy located in small town located in the heart of the Kimberley Region of WA. The original town site, now known as Old Halls Creek, is about 15km away from the current town and stands in ruins, offering a glimpse into the past. Halls Creek serves as a vital service centre for the surrounding pastoral industry and numerous Aboriginal communities in the regions. Its also a key stop for travellers exploring the Kimberly. Broome is approximately 700 km west of the town. Halls Creek airport is very close to the town centre (About 102km away).


Dates: Wednesday 8th October to Wednesday 22nd October 2025.
There will be one Saturday only during this period and the date will be discussed with the locum by the client.


Note Fly in on Wednesday 8th October and open the shop for the afternoon, Upon leaving fly out Wednesday 22nd October and close shop for afternoon. (the flights will marry up with flights then out of Broome matching to flights into Halls Creek (which are only Mon/Wed and Friday).

Hours: Weekdays 9am to 5pm plus Saturday 9am to 12pm ** refer to hours for the fly in and fly out days. No breaks.

Job Specification: Sole Pharmacist, dispensing on Z to Low script trade but with a very well qualified pharmacy dispensary assistant who is capable of a wide range of standard of duties including ordering,Webster packing and dealing with phone calls on professional matters and so on (so locum will have plenty of support). Pharmacy does a lot of internal work on behalf of the Hospital (Webster packing for the Aboriginal Community (a lot of the prep work is done by the owner before he leaves).



Experience essential.
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Z exp is not essential as Dispensary Assistant can train.


Salary and Benefits:
Pay rate: Flat rate Weekdays and Saturday $75hr + Super (Paid by Pharmacy)

Travel: Return Flights Morning and afternoon flights in and out of Halls Creek From Broome and Kununurra, airport transfers.


Accommodation: Owners home, approx 20 metres from pharmacy. Air conditioning, Wifi, pets allowed.Owner will be away. All shops are within approx 400 metres from home so no need for use of car,
However, owners car may be available for use mid week (this will be discussed with locum)
