Company Milestones
Raven’s Pharmacy Services Founded
Fred and Joan Raven established Raven’s Pharmacy Services, with Fred specialising in pharmacy broking and Joan assisting pharmacies with pharmacist staffing.
National Recruitment Team Expansion
Raven’s expanded to a team of five staff, providing both permanent and locum pharmacist recruitment services to pharmacies across Australia.
International Transfer Program Launched
An overseas transfer program was introduced, supporting pharmacists relocating between Australia, the UK and Ireland.
Rebrand to Raven’s Recruitment
The recruitment division was rebranded to Raven’s Recruitment, formally separating from Raven’s Pharmacy Sales.
First Major Phone System Upgrade
A new business phone system was implemented, transitioning from PSTN to ISDN to improve communication capabilities.
Acquisition of New Zealand Pharmacy Employment
Raven’s expanded its presence in New Zealand through the acquisition of New Zealand Pharmacy Employment (NZPE).
Strategic Expansion and New Services
Horizon Resourcing was acquired and the Locum Pharmacist Payroll Service was introduced to simplify payroll administration for pharmacies and locum pharmacists.
Joined the Recruitment & Staffing Industry Body
Raven’s became a Corporate Member of the Recruitment, Consulting & Staffing Association (RCSA), strengthening its commitment to professional recruitment standards.
Core Recruitment System Migrated to the Cloud
The Applicant Tracking System (ATS) at the centre of the company’s technology stack was migrated from a local server to the cloud.
New Integrated Recruitment Website
A new website developed by Volcanic launched with integration into the company’s recruitment technology stack.
Regulatory Licensing and Industry Insights
Raven’s became a registered Labour Hire Provider and launched the Raven’s Pharmacy Salary & Market Report, providing valuable insights into pharmacist remuneration and workforce trends.

We are a Registered Labour Hire Provider with the Queensland Government, the Victorian Government, the Australian Capital Territory Government and the South Australian Government which allows us to operate as a provider. These are the only States and Territories with this type of legislation for the pharmacy industry and Pharmacists.
