Job Specification

We're seeking an experienced Retail Manager who enjoys building high-performing teams and creating a positive, customer-focused culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10 staff

  • Manage rosters, HR administration, recruitment, and staff development

  • Conduct inductions and support ongoing training

  • Confidently manage team conversations and performance matters

  • Oversee front-of-shop ordering, stock management, and invoicing

  • Drive merchandising standards and coordinate stocktakes

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders

You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth retail operations while contributing to the overall success of the pharmacy.

Skills Required

  • Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (essential)

  • Previous community pharmacy experience (essential)

  • Proven retail leadership experience

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • High emotional intelligence and confident communication style

  • Experience with QCPP standards highly regarded

  • Practical, hands-on approach to team and operational management

Salary & Benefits

  • $38-$42 per hour, negotiable depending on experience

  • Full-time or part-time hours available

  • Supportive pharmacy environment with 2-3 pharmacists and a strong dispensary team
