Job Specification
We're seeking an experienced Retail Manager who enjoys building high-performing teams and creating a positive, customer-focused culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:
Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10 staff
Manage rosters, HR administration, recruitment, and staff development
Conduct inductions and support ongoing training
Confidently manage team conversations and performance matters
Oversee front-of-shop ordering, stock management, and invoicing
Drive merchandising standards and coordinate stocktakes
Build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders
You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth retail operations while contributing to the overall success of the pharmacy.
Skills Required
Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (essential)
Previous community pharmacy experience (essential)
Proven retail leadership experience
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
High emotional intelligence and confident communication style
Experience with QCPP standards highly regarded
Practical, hands-on approach to team and operational management
Salary & Benefits
$38-$42 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
Full-time or part-time hours available
Supportive pharmacy environment with 2-3 pharmacists and a strong dispensary team
