Job Specification

An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Pharmacist Manager to lead a supportive and experienced team. You'll be responsible for guiding a team of pharmacists, technicians and retail assistants while ensuring high-quality professional services and customer care.

This role is ideal for a dynamic and emotionally intelligent leader who can inspire collaboration, build trust, and drive business growth-all while maintaining a patient-first philosophy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team leadership and day-to-day management
  • Clinical checks and efficient dispensary workflow
  • Delivery of a wide range of services:
  • Pharmacotherapy
  • DAAs
  • Immunisations
  • In-services and education sessions
  • Services to nursing homes and mental health facilities
  • Involvement in pilot programs (UTI treatment, OCP resupply, shingles, travel vax etc.)

Candidates who have completed Full Scope of Practice training will be highly regarded.

Skills Required

  • General AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • 5 years experience working as a pharmacist in Australia, previous management experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a team of 4-5 pharmacists
  • Accreditation to provide immunisations and other professional services preferred
  • Experience with Fred dispensing system desirable

Salary & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $65-$70/hr (negotiable based on experience and accreditations)
  • Relocation assistance available for interstate candidates
  • Full-time position - 38 hours per week
  • Supportive environment with 4-5 other pharmacists on-site
  • Excellent staffing including a Retail Manager, 3 Dispense Technicians, and 3-4 additional shop assistants
