  • $70/hr + super + full permanent entitlements.

Client & Location Information:

This well-established, independently owned community pharmacy in rural North Queensland-around an hour south of Townsville-is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to lead day-to-day operations. Set in one of the state's key farming regions, the area offers a relaxed lifestyle with beautiful unspoilt coastline close by, great schools, and a vibrant local community.

Job Specification:

As Pharmacist in Charge, you'll be overseeing the daily running of this traditional, community-focused pharmacy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing pharmacy operations during standard opening hours.
  • Providing vaccinations - flu and whooping cough.
  • Managing a well-established medicinal cannabis service.
  • Working closely with a skilled team: 1 experienced Dispense Technician and small front of shop team.
  • The roster is Monday - Friday (no evenings) with a few hours only on Saturday mornings, with some midweek time off possible as the owner remains locally available.

Skills Required:

  • Current AHPRA full registration as a Pharmacist.
  • Confident working as a sole Pharmacist with collaborative leadership skills.
  • A warm, community-minded attitude and commitment to personalised service.
  • Familiarity with Fred NXT preferred.
  • Vaccination accreditation required.
