Location Information: Public hospital located in Alice Springs, known for its beautiful desert landscape and history.

Work Dates ASAP for 2-3 months. Locums must be able to work a minimum of one month or longer.
Open to community or clinical pharmacist, the role can be clinical based or based in the hospital dispensary with no ward work.

Dates:
Asap 2-3 months
Work Hours: Monday to Friday // 8am- 4:21pm (1 hr break)


Job Description:
We are open to a Clinical Pharmacist to provide ward based clinical Pharmacy experience or if you are a community Pharmacist then we can place you in the Hospital Dispensary.

This is a unique opportunity for either a newly registered pharmacist or experienced community pharmacist to gain experience in a hospital environment. Experienced hospital pharmacists are also welcome to apply.

Job Description: Hospital Dispensary :
You will be working in the hospital dispensary alongside two dispense techs. While you will be the Sole Pharmacist, you will have the support of 12 ward pharmacists. Websters are packed by techs but will require checking. There is no ward work.

Job Description; Clinical Based Pharmacist :
You will be providing a ward based clinical pharmacy service in accordance with national standards and departmental guidelines to nominated wards. A full Pd can be provided to interested Clinical Pharmacist.

Skills Required:
* Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
* Experience with Merlin (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)
* Previous Hospital Pharmacy Experience Preferred but not essential as the locum can either be placed in the Hospital Dispensary or on the Wards if Clinical experience
* Must have a clear criminal history check within the last 12 months.
* Must have a current NT working with Children Card (or receipt of application is sufficient as NT ones can take some time to process).Client will reimburse successful locum the cost of the WWCC NT Card.


Pay rate: Neg from $70 to $80/hr + Super. (paid by Raven's)
(Pay rate is dependent on experience and will be determined by the hospital).

Extras:
Travel: Flights in and out, or if you would prefer to drive, up to $2K towards fuel round trip.
Client normally prefers locums to book the flights and will reimburse.
Airport transfers (if flying).
Working With Children Card NT (WWCC NT) cost will be reimbursed.
Accommodation: Onsite staff quarters with air con, WIFI and shared bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities.
