Our client is a busy community pharmacy located in Victoria's Central Highlands region, just over 100km from Melbourne. The city is Australia's third-largest inland hub, well known for its blend of natural surrounds, relaxed lifestyle, historic charm, and cultural attractions.

Job Specification

An exciting 12-month contract opportunity is available for a passionate Pharmacist eager to further develop their skills in a dynamic dispensary setting. The role will see you managing dispensary operations, overseeing stock orders, supervising dispensing, and contributing to patient services. You'll work within a strong support structure of two dispense techs, an intern, pharmacy assistants, and delivery driver.

This role is rostered across weekdays (with shifts alternating between 9am-5pm and 10am-6.30pm), and weekend cover is shared across the team. On most shifts you'll work alongside a second Pharmacist, with only 1-2 hours of sole coverage expected.

Key details:

• Computer system: Dispense Works
  
• Script trade: 300-350 weekdays; 150-200 Saturdays; 60-100 Sundays
  
• Shop hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6.30pm, Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 10am-2pm
  
• Services: Cannabis dispensing (1 patient), DAA packs (150, packed off-site)
  

Skills Required

• General AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  
• Minimum 2 years post-internship experience
  
• Vaccination accreditation preferred
  
• Strong organisational and communication skills
  
• Ability to supervise, dispense accurately, and manage dispensary stock
