This is a rare opportunity to complete your internship in a highly supportive and professional environment based in the beautiful inland country city of Toowoomba - just 1.5 hours from Brisbane. The pharmacy is led by an award winning Pharmacy Owner who is a Full Scope trained pharmacy professional who is as friendly as she is accomplished.

This pharmacy has enjoyed very little staff turnover in the last decade, making it a welcoming and harmonious place to start your career.

Job Specification:

As the Intern Pharmacist, you'll work collaboratively with an experienced team of three Pharmacists, Dispensary Technicians, and a large, capable front-of-shop team. You'll be exposed to all aspects of pharmacy operations, gaining well-rounded experience in both clinical and retail services.

Roster providing long weekend each fortnight.

  • Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday.

You'll work alongside a 2-3 Pharmacist team during the week, with one Pharmacist scheduled on Saturdays.

Skills Required:

  • Recent pharmacy graduate eligible for internship in Australia.
  • Full work rights to work in Australia (no sponsorship provided).
  • Passion for delivering professional services and patient-centred care.
  • Willingness to learn in a team-oriented, supportive environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $30-$32/hr plus super depending on experiene in pharmacy prior to starting internship.
  • Structured training and development under a Full Scope trained Preceptor.
  • Exposure to a wide range of pharmacy services including MPS packs and methadone programs.
  • Use of advanced technology including Minfos and a Rowa Dispense Robot.
