Job Specification:

You will work as an integral part of a dedicated team delivering pharmacy services, on a Monday to Friday roster from 8am to 4pm. Your duties will include: clinically reviewing patients and their oncology treatment protocols; dispensing and checking prescriptions in accordance regulations; carrying out medication, reconciliation processes and assisting with stock and inventory management. Your ability to providing patient education and counselling; coordinating clinical trials and compassionate access programmes will be the key to your success.

Your experience around compounding aseptic cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic products would be well regarded as is your ability to build and maintain close relationships with health professionals within an experienced advanced oncology pharmacy services team.

Skills Required:

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
• Proven experience working in oncology or hospital pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated patient centred care and empathy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to patients' individual needs.
