As the Covid-19 Pandemic continues to grow in scale, the pressure on Pharmacies and Pharmacist staff has significantly increased.
As an industry, our incredible Pharmacists have had to deal with the increased workload from the initial panic buying of medicines and that pressure has not significantly abated as each day brings new challenges.
With the recent announcement that NSW Pharmacies can now operate 24/7, there will be a growing need for more flexible rosters, and where possible, split shifts will be the preference to minimise the risk of infection between team members.
