    • $60-$65/hr + subsidised first 6mths accom.
    • Further Scope of Practice training provided.
    • Well supported by experienced pharmacy teams.

    Client & Location Information:

    Our client is committed to advancing the pharmacy profession towards full scope of practice, emphasizing service delivery across all its locations. We are currently seeking a driven and motivated Pharmacist in Charge to join a Rockhampton-based pharmacy group on a full-time or part-time basis.

    Rockhampton, QLD, with a population of over 80,000, is located 700km north of Brisbane and is the capital of Central Queensland. It is situated on the Tropic of Capricorn, divided by the Fitzroy River, Queensland's largest and most picturesque river. The city offers daily flights to Brisbane and is only a short 25-minute drive to Yeppoon, the gateway to Great Keppel Island, known for its superb recreational and resort facilities.

    Job Specification:

    You will be the Pharmacist in Charge of your designated pharmacy or if skill set is better suited to a Rotational Pharmacist in Charge role throughout the group, this is also possible. You will be driving outstanding customer service by:

    • Being an accessible medication expert within the local community.
    • Providing vaccination services, DAA provision, and other PPA services.
    • Dispensing and counselling.
    • Providing general leadership and support to the Pharmacy team, including Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants.

    Skills Required:

    • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
    • Current pharmacist vaccinator or willingness to become one, with a current first aid and CPR certificate.
    • Proven ability in people management within a community pharmacy setting.
    • Clear and friendly communication style.
    • Experience with various professional pharmacy services, including vaccinations, or willingness to be trained.
    • Confidence to work as a sole pharmacist if required.
    • Effective dispensary skills.
    • Vaccination accreditation, including COVID and flu, is preferred but not essential.

    Salary & Benefits:

    • $60-$65/hr plus super depending on skill set.
