LOCATION:

Nestled in a picturesque coastal town on the Capricorn Coast close to Rockhampton, this modern community pharmacy is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Pharmacist to join the dispensary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the perfect blend of a peaceful coastal lifestyle with the convenience of city amenities nearby in Rockhampton, just 40 minutes away.

Position Overview:

You would be joining this pharmacy as an integral part of the healthcare team, providing effective and helpful care and services to the community. Your role will include general Pharmacist duties, with the opportunity to step into the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role during weekend shifts as part of a shared roster. You'll work alongside a dedicated team, including the Pharmacist Manager, Dispensary Technicians, a Retail Manager, and Pharmacy Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in general Pharmacist and PIC duties, including patient counselling and vaccinations including the provision of specialised LAIBUP (Long-Acting Injectable Buprenorphine) monthly injections (training provided).
• Collaborate closely with the Pharmacist Manager during weekdays and lead the pharmacy team on weekends.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and service to our community.

• A flexible work schedule, including some weekend work (approximately 1 in 3 weekends or alternate weekends, negotiable).

Skills Required:

• A valid Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team.
• Experience with Minfos would be advantageous but not essential.
• Vaccination accredited ideally, but not essential.
