Job Specification:

This role offers the chance to step into either a full-time or part-time Pharmacist position within a friendly pharmacy team deeply embedded in the local community. As the secondary pharmacist, you'll be working collaboratively with a team that includes 2 interns, so the ability to collaborate effectively is paramount. Your role will encompass a broad range of services including medication reviews, vaccinations, support for nursing homes, and care for methadone patients, ensuring a varied and impactful workday.

Skills Required:

  • Essential: Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Desirable: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
  • Advantageous: Experience in medication reviews, vaccinations, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Additional Information:

  • Computer System: Proficiency in Z dispense is required.
  • Script Trade: The pharmacy handles an average of 350 scripts per day.
  • Shop Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 7 PM; Saturday, 9 AM - 3 PM. The role involves a flexible weekly roster with a requirement to work every second Saturday.
  • Team Structure: You will be the sole pharmacist at times, supported by 1 or 2 dispensary technicians, 2 interns, and 5 shop assistants.
