Position: Full Time Dispensary Technician

Ideal for those who appreciate the great outdoors, especially hiking enthusiasts, with the Macedon Regional Park nearby. This small, community-focused pharmacy prides itself on delivering exceptional care to its patients and customers.

Job Specification:

We're on the lookout for an experienced Dispensary Technician who is not just proficient but also passionate about their role. Your primary duties will include working closely with an experienced Pharmacist Manager, assisting with the dispensary's daily operations, and engaging confidently with customers and patients. Familiarity with the BESTMED platform is crucial, alongside a knack for maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Skills Required:

  • Certificate IV or V in Pharmacy is a must.

  • Demonstrated experience with the BESTMED platform.

  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively with pharmacy staff.

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in approaching and assisting customers and patients.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting at $32/hr, with the possibility for negotiation depending on your experience.

  • Full-time hours within a supportive and close-knit team environment.

  • Work-life balance with Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm shop hours, allowing you to enjoy your weekends.

Other Information:

  • Computer System: Fred.

  • Script Trade: 25 scripts daily, servicing 325 nursing home patients.

  • DAA/Packs: Involved in Webster packing for community patients and sachet packing for 3 nursing homes, with some checks performed by pharmacists.
