Client & Location Information:

A state-of-the-art surgical centre located in the scenic coastal suburb of Frankston, just 41kms southeast of Melbourne's bustling CBD, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join their oncology and clinical trials team. This centre is renowned for its commitment to excellence in cancer care and its active participation in groundbreaking clinical trials.

Job Specification:

This role presents a unique opportunity for a hospital pharmacist aiming to specialize and advance their career in the oncology field. The core responsibilities include:

  • Clinical screening of cancer care medications.
  • Coordinating the setup of new clinical trials and facilitating negotiations with sponsors.
  • Managing the supply of cancer care medications for day oncology patients using CHARM (Oncology Information Management Software).

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a hospital setting.
  • General registration with AHPRA.
  • Knowledge of CHARM software is highly advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of clinical and operational pharmacists.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Computer System: Fred, along with CHARM software.
  • Shop Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm.
  • Supported by an oncology technician and an imprest technician.
