Client & Location Information:

City on the southwest coast of Victoria, located approx 360 kilometres west-southwest of Melbourne.

Job Specification :

As the clinical locum pharmacist you will be working alongside 1 other pharmacist, which requires supervision. You will be experienced in using ipharmcy dispense for low script trade. No Methadone dispensing or websters required. Your duties will include dispensing, counselling and customer service.

The Pharmacists assist the medical staff in medication management of inpatients, the nursing staff in medication availability, administration and safety and educate patients on any new or changed medications provided during their stay and on discharge.

The Pharmacy team also overseaes the formulary and medication supply for the hospital including controlled and highly specialised substances.

Dates: Friday 24/11/2023- Friday 12/01/2024

Work Hours: 8.30am-5.00pm Monday - Friday

Experience Required:

* Registered as a pharmacist with the Australian Pharmacy Board (AHPRA)
* Experience with ipharmacy
* Preferable 3 years clinical (oncology) experience, (will consider shorter hospital experience).

Salary & Benefits:

*Locum Pay rate: $85 /hr + super weekdays.

Extras: fuel expenses and shared accommodation provided.

*Travel costs covered will capped at $200 total travel to and from Portland.
*Accommodation has own bedroom with shared living space, kitchen and bathroom.

*For interstate, can fly in to Mt Gambier Airport and volunteer picks up locum and then after hours, service car picked up, to use through out the duration of stay.
