Client & Location Information: Community pharmacy located in a vibrant and sustainable coastal community of approximately 4,000 people, located on Albatross Bay on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula, in the Gulf of Carpentaria. The township sits around 200km from Australia's northern tip and about 800km from Cairns by road (or 500km by air). Despite the distance from other major cities, the township contains most of the facilities and conveniences of modern living.

Job Specification: As the sole pharmacist, you will be using FredNXT dispense system for a medium script trade (approx. 100-150 p/day). You will also be working alongside 6 shop staff in the store. This pharmacy provides service to aboriginal communities and they prepare up to 400 blister packs per week (locum does not need to pack but will need to check, 2 employees handle the packing). 7CPA (medchecks) are to be performed if possible. Main duties will include dispensing, counselling, back counter duties, S2S3.

Dates: Tuesday 31st October to Saturday 18th November

Hours:
Monday - Saturday roster -
Monday-Friday // 9am-5:30pm (no break).
Saturday // 9am-1pm (no break).

Experience essential.
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Be willing to forward dispense (essential).
* Experience with FredNXT dispense (advantageous).
* Vaccination accreditation inc. COVID (preferred).


Salary and Benefits:
Monday - Friday // $75 p/hr + Super.
Saturday // $80 p/hr + Super.

Manual car provided so you must have a manual drivers licence.
