Client & Location Information:

Hospital Inpatient Dispensary located in South Brisbane.

Job Specification:

Dates: Locum Pharmacist required in a full-time capacity for an immediate start until Friday 25th January 2022.

Hours: 7.5hrs per day between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday (exact hours are provided upon booking).

The locum pharmacist will be working in the inpatient dispensary and providing the final check for assembled medications that have been dispensed by ward pharmacists. You will be involved in all activities required for the day-to-day running of the inpatient dispensary as part of a team of pharmacists and technicians. The locum will be provided with training in the dispensing system (Merlin) and orientation to the role. There is potential for someone with hospital experience to also work on some days as the ward pharmacist in some clinical areas. This Hospital Pharmacy is dedicated to the exceptional care and service of all their patients and customers. They provide a comprehensive pharmacy service and strive to maintain the highest level of professionalism in all their services. In addition to clinical pharmacy services, they provide traditional community pharmacy medicines and retail products to patients, visitors and staff.

Experience Required:

* Bachelor of Pharmacy.

* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

* Previous experience within a clinical / hospital pharmacy setting is desirable.

* Prior demonstrated experience in ward-based clinical pharmacy will be highly regarded.

* Hospital experience preferable (but not mandatory).

* This site requires locums to have had both covid vaccinations.

You will also demonstrate a professional attitude, effective communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Salary & Benefits: $48/hr+super Monday to Friday (negotiable, depending upon experience).
