Client & Location Information:

Community pharmacy located in a Hinterland town just over an hour out of Cairns in north Queensland. This location is celebrated for some of the best food experiences in Cairns & Great Barrier Reef. Described as Foodie Haven by some. Visit the many farms to sample home-grown produce, starting with Australia's oldest coffee plantation, then graze your way through the farmers' markets in Yungaburra or enjoy a tipple at a distillery. Population of 7,500. The town centre includes a comprehensive shopping centre, showgrounds, hospital and Olympic size swimming pool.

Job Specification:

Locum pharmacist required from Monday 19th April for 1-2 months

Work hours: approximately 38hrs/week (roster will be provided - usual pharmacy hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, 8am-1pm Sat & closed on Sundays)

As the locum pharmacist, you will help overseeing the daily operations of this pharmacy for the local community and tourists who visit the area. You will be working alongside a team of established Dispensary Technicians and Assistants whilst providing counselling advice and professional services.

The store uses Fred dispense for a medium script trade.

Skills Required:

• Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Experience with Fred dispense.
• Experience with Health Stream would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with webster packing is required.
• Confident working as a sole pharmacist.

Salary & Benefits:

$50/hr + super Monday to Saturday. Travel expenses and accommodation provided.
